Gently undulating farmland, and continually being updated and improved.
NOVICE: Inviting with twisty early section, timber and hedges (mainly on second half), generous pen through woods.
INTERMEDIATE: Twisty early section with quarry, good hedges with lots of turning later on, solid timber, pen.

 OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE FOR 2024
OPEN: Challenging, good hedges with ditches in front and behind. Galloping course, including ski jump, twists and turns, water splash needs accuracy, pen.

Wynnstay Team Chase

Set in beautiful countryside, the Wynnstay is a brand-new addition to the team chasing calendar.

Details of the course will be available soon, but it will include both NOVICE and INTERMEDIATE classes.

Riders can expect inviting hedges, rails, and a thoughtfully designed layout to challenge and excite all levels.

Duke of Beaufort Team Chase

Duke of Beaufort Team Chase

In the heart of the Duke of Beaufort’s Saturday country across permanent pasture utilising the best of their natural features.

Novice – Up to height timber, capped walls and portable island fences with several railed mature hedges. One of the larger novice tracks, flat and mid distance. Pen in the second half of the course.

Intermediate – Open galloping track of maximum distance including a hilly section through the middle. Plenty of mature hedges with three switchbacks, capped walls and a variety of timber including the feature ski jump fence. Pen in the final part of the course. The optimum time class runs over the same fences but has previously been slightly shorter with two fewer jumping efforts.

Cotswold Team Chase Intermediate and Open

Intermediate: Lots of variety of fences, some twists and turns, drops, wooded section, drop over water and Trakehner. uphill finish, a long course.

Open: All the variety you could wish for including the featured Irish Bank, drops (one over water), a pen, ditches, some solid timber, uphill finish.

Mini: A smaller version of a team chase, ideal for less confident or first time team chasers. A mixture of all cross country fences.

Novice: Very inviting, lots of variety, hedges, stone walls, water splash, wooded sections. Hilly so breaks and steering are needed! Uphill finish.

Novice: Inviting and fairly small, mixture of timber and stone walls, a couple of hedges and some portable cross country jumps.

Intermediate: Some good, up to height hedges, timber, stone walls, a few drops, this course requires steering and breaks!

Intermediate: Up to height, plenty of hedges and some drops.

Open: Challenging, good hedges, plenty of drops, feature hedge with a large ditch in front. A few twists and turns in the course but some good long galloping sections.
